The general permits for wastewater discharge increase the efficiency of the Department’s permitting process through the issuance of generic permits to categories of business activities which are generally very similar in their wastewater characteristics.
This permit covers discharges to surface or ground waters of overflow, drainage (drawdown), filter backwash, and cleaning water from any public or private pool or spa including baptismal fonts.

  3. To complete the application you submitted online, you must also print out the Signature Card for Submission of Online Notice of Intent, have an authorized Signatory sign, and then send the original hardcopy to the Industrial Stormwater Permits Division per the form’s instructions.
